घनआनँद प्यारे सुजान सुनौ, यहाँ एक ते दूसरो आँक नहीं।तुम कौन धौं पाटी पढ़े हौ लला, मन लेहु पै देहु छटाँक नहीं॥
In English
The road of love runs very straight — there is not the slightest bend of cleverness in it. Only those who leave their own selves behind walk it truly; the deceitful hesitate. Ghananand asks: what lesson were you taught, that you take a heart whole and give back not an ounce?
